THE BAUDELAIRE ISSUE is the outcome of an experiment with halftone photography conducted in the Two Cents Press darkroom in Serrazzano. With different screens, several halftone photopolymer plates were produced from the same original photograph of Baudelaire by Etienne Carjat (1862).
Curiously, in each plate, the forty-one year old poet seemed to project a different mood. True to his personality?
